Exploration

In 2018, placer driller Glen Slonski, along with Steelwater Contracting and Ampex Mining, discovered an extension of the Spruce Creek paleochannel using an RC drill rig. A total of 25 holes have been drilled on the 90 hectare property and 7 have intersected the paleochannel at an average depth of 325 ft (100 m). Average grade estimates equal 2 fine ounces/square yard within the lower 3 yards of pay gravel. The minimum average paleochannel width between drill lines 1 and 3 is 18.6 yards and remains open to the south. At drill line 3 the channel is at least 25.5 yards in width. The channel length has been intersected over a length of 496 yards  and remains open the length of the property (1907 yards).

Drill Results

Gold grades are reflected in milligrams recovered from a 7" RC drill hole.

DH-16

The highest grade drill hole (DH-16) recovered 5.6 grams of placer gold. This is equivalent to 4.85 fine oz/sq. yard. Approximately 90% of the placer gold was contained in the lower 5 ft of pay gravel

Spruce Creek Paleochannel

The projected Spruce Creek paleochannel is based on underground workings at the former Noland Mine, drill results from this project, and a neighboring project upstream from the Desbiens Lease.
