Previous Development

More than 300,000 ounces of placer gold have been mined from Spruce Creek since its discovery in 1899. Much of that production occurred underground. Noland Mines Limited operated on Spruce Creek during the 1940's and 50's. Placer gold grades in the paleochannel were commonly 1 - 2 oz/cubic yard and reached as high as 6 oz/cubic yard. The largest nugget produced from Spruce Creek was 83 ounces.

Otter Creek

Recent production from neighboring Otter Creek highlights the potential of the Atlin area. Project partner Glen Slonski discovered the deep channel in 2010 and developed the property. Exceptional grades were realized within the high-grade channel.
