Underground Development

To mine the Spruce Creek paleochannel, a 325ft-deep shaft has been collared on the property. The plan is to cross-cut the channel and drift within the high-grade zone. A 2000 cubic yard bulk sample will provide economic and geotechnical information for a property-scale development strategy and mine permit.

Development Cross-section

The shaft will intersect the bedrock rim of the paleochannel and cross-cut into the high-grade zone on drill line 1. A true width of the channel will be determined and a high-grade drift established to extract the remaining 2000 cubic yard bulk sample.

The Shaft

A 14' diameter shaft has been initiated on the Desbiens placer lease adjacent to drill line 1. The pre-sink has been advanced to 21ft and will require a headframe after 49 ft (15m) to complete the main sink.

Estimated Shaft and Bulk Sample Cost

This estimate outlines the projected capital required to complete shaft development to a depth of 100m (327 feet), establish operational infrastructure, and extract a 2,000 cubic yard bulk sample*. Total estimated cost incorporates equipment purchases, engineering, permitting, labor, and a 10% contingency.

An independent analysis of the cost breakdown is recommended.

Total Estimated Cost
CDN$9,889,000.00

*The bulk sample is estimated to gross 1680 - 2240 fine ounces valued at CDN$7.5-10M (@$4500/oz)
